What kind of a "little car" was it that failed?
OMG I'm glad it was not your KJ!
Ya a tow strap should get you either a date or a few beers with lunch tomorrow then!

I used to do that $hit not far from the OP in the Black River bottoms. One day I came to a ditch totally submerged, but since I knew where it was, I got out on the hood of the old IHC pickup I was driving to make sure exactly where the bridge was. When I finally located it, it was 50ft down the ditch where the water had washed it. Got a little weak kneed thinking about the results had I just driven forward. Not been in any water to speak of since.

Gonna have to relate a buddy's tale here. He was ************ drinking age and went with a friend to get booze (Arkansas has wet/dry counties, makes for booze runs). Closest liquor was on other side of a low road area, ROAD CLOSED sign in place but they chose to try it and drowned out, this in Feb, water cold as frozen Hell, got out, started walking wet to waist and above, when who should pull up but Ark state trooper! Explained to them it's illegal to disobey emergency road signs and he'd ticket them at h.q. And have wrecker tow car. After they were handcuffed and in his back seat he ROLLED DOWN ALL4WINDOWS and drove them about 40miles to get their tickets.

Sadistic ******!

Everybody thought it funny as hell.

Friend years ago could still see the yellow line as well
then the Dodge caravan he was driving got washed off the road along with his wife and two kids. Thankfully a tree stopped them and they were able to get out.

You don't like punctuation, do you?

Glad to hear the KJ is good to go. Definitely will want to open the difs and check for watery, milky fluid. I try to avoid the deep stuff.

whats punctuation never heard of it down here lol naw I’ve gotten use to my phone doing it all for me I forget when I’m not on it to hit the keys. And as soon as the weather clears up i will be popping the diff covers off. The water was just standing water from the fields no currents or anything so not much to worry about getting washed out, The chick that drove her civic off it just drove off in the ditch on each side of the road is about a 4 foot drop off for the fields to drain the water out so they can get the rice.
