one of my subs are all rippled

it's just the woven fiber that is peeling from the cone of the sub. is there a fix i can do for this? or is this a problem that i need to contact Alpine about? :favorites68:

How old is it? Are you overpowering? It would never hurt to contact alpine. All they can say is, wow, I'm sorry, let me send you a new one. Or, your a ******* and overpowered our sub! Lol

it's only a few weeks old.. and alpine isn't open until tomorrow :disgust:

the cone is made of compressed saw dust with that fabric glued over the top. it looks like the glue was bad they used. It won't do anything if you use it but alpine should deff cover it. even if you over powered it by double it would smoke the coil and not delaminate the cone like that.
