Ok so I'm getting ready to order the tommudd econo 3.5 in lift and some jba control arms since I probably need new upper ball joints anyway. My question is what's the biggest size tire I can run with that lift thanks guys and gals.

Are you regearing as well ?
If not 245-75-16 is it
Are you using the ironman or OME front coils?
if Ironman go with .500 clevis, OME use the .375 ones

I plan on adding a steel bumper to the front so do I need the hd front springs or the reg ones

I do believe it is recommended to run HD springs if you are using a steel bumper. For gears I hear most run 4.10's which can also be found in 4 cylinder KJ's.

4.10s is the lowest you can go unless you go with the steel from diff from jeepinbyal , then 4.56/4.88s

If you have 4.10s and 4 inches of lift then 32s ( 265-75-16s) But with even 4.10s its marginal , should really be lower yet
On my 03 build for example I'm going to be running 265-70-16s ( same height as 245-75-16s ) with 4.10s . Should be about perfect combination of power, mileage , handling ( ran 265-75-16s with 4.10s for the last almost 100,000 miles on my 04 so wanting even a bit more )

In most cases an extra 1/2 inch height of a tire doesn't really matter , good skids help ....:icon_lol:
