Lol personally if I had the money I would get some M/T's if I was going off-road 90% of the time..

Firestone Destination AT's (one of the top rated AT tires in the world...and cheap)
Yokohama Geolander AT's (my personal favorite)
Toyo Open Country AT's

Check Tirerack.com for all the tire ratings and testimonials before you buy. Always had good prices from them too.

Man if you think Destinations are cheap then you either make a lot of money or the prices are super different regionally.

I checked a half dozen places around me that do nothing but sell tires and even a few smaller shops that can order them in. The best price i found locally on them was $132 mounted and balanced, multiply by four and you get $528, and i wanted five so it would have run me $660!!! Ouch

Sure i could have ordered them from TireRack, but with shipping and then mounting the savings were a wash... I ordered the Kumho's from TireRack and with the shipping, mounting and balancing, i was still about $150 cheaper than four Destinations.

And the Kumho's have really impressed me.

I put a set of Destination A/Ts on my XJ and really like them. They're quiet, and are awesome in the snow and rain.
