this isnt for my KJ but could still apply
need to repair threads in an aluminum housing, was tapped at an angle and all sorts of messed up ...lets just say dads eyes arent what they used to be haha
anyways its very very similar to the bracket that hols the rear UCA to a KJ rear diff.. helicoil recommended ? is there a better option ?
