Tcase fluids???

Gonna change the transfer case fluid this week, first time for me. Does it need to be mopar's version of atf-4 or can i use say castrols or another brands, and how much do i need?

and how much do i need?

Per the FSM, the NV231 takes 2.95 pt (about 1.5 qt) and the NV242 takes 3.4 pt (1.7 qt).

If you don't have a pump or something stay with smaller bottle. you can fit a nozzle on them which make it easier. I did it 2 day ago and that's what I did, went perfectly fine.
