I'd been planning it for quite a while, but it finally happened. I just returned from a trip throughout Italy a few days ago. My purpose there was to shop for 5 Cherokees (European KJs) to use in my charity overlanding organization for Ukrainian soldiers and veterans. I identified 5 vehicles for purchase, and reached a deal on 3 of them. A friend in Italy is completing the negotiating for the final two, and to finalize the purchase of them. Then he will transport them by truck to us. We will have 3 manuals and 2 automatics, all with the 2.8 liter CRD (yes, the CRD was available with a manual in Europe). So now we're looking forward to receiving the KJs and getting to work to outfit them for the organization.
