so about a year ago i had this odd clicking going on, i took out my front drive shaft and realized my boot was destroyed. i ordered the CV rebuild ordeal and installed it. after a little while and some off road trips i noticed it was having a slight hum, i looked and more grease was making a ring around the shaft. after inspection i found that i had not tightened the drive shaft all the way down on the TC side. after removing it and installing more grease into the shaft all is well. now maybe 3 months after doing that it is humming again!!! do i need to replace the CV again? maybe i messed something up the first time? is there anyway i could get a better(non CV) drive shaft and just be done with it?

Ah, I think you figured it out yourself
You didn't install it right from the get go from the sounds of it
and now its the CVs fault??
I've installed several and they have had no issues at all. Mine was done a couple of years ago on my own even
