My Liberty drives and brakes normally virtually all the time. Smooth braking action, and ABS tests normal on loose dirt. It'll go for a week with no issues.

Occasionally, normally with light brake applied when it hits a little bump in the road, or sometimes on a turn, the left front wheel makes an odd buzz for about 1/2 sec and it feels like the brake is applied a little stronger when it happens. Then, it's fine and won't do it again for another week.

It seems like an ABS kind of an action. I really don't think it's warped rotors as many report for odd shudders.

Any ideas welcomed!
Thanks

It could be the abs sensor on that side is going out. Or most likely it's the wheel bearing on its way out. When you take that turn if the wheel bearing is loose from wear. The sensor looses its reading on the tone ring in the bearing. Even though the wheel is still rolling. The abs senses it is sliding and activities the abs. That's why you get the pulse in the brake pedal and why it only happens in turns. For now. When it get bad enough it will start to do it every time you apply the brakes.
