I have just replaced the starter on our 04 Liberty 3.7 4x4. The replacement rebuilt Bosch starter does not have the holes for the heat shield. After some research on the web, I have found that some libertys have the cat converter right next to the starter which could cause a lot of heat. Our liberty has the converter mounted futher down stream by the trany. I checked with the auto parts store on this and all 8 that they have in stock do not have the holes for the heat shield. I am just fishing this site for some opinions.

Thank you
