Sounds extensive, I'll be keeping my fording reasonable. What are these kj's rated to fired anyway? Does anyone know?
You'll get water in the cab once it's over the door seals if you stop moving. I've dipped the hood under while crossing areas that were 10-25ft wide with no issues. As long as you don't stop moving you won't get water inside.
Only connector I had problems with was the one that goes through the cab to control the rear wiper. It got wet and would short the power pins causing the rear wiper to go on by itself. I've since covered the connector with liquid electrical tape and haven't had it turn on by itself since. I also killed an e-fan because I forgot to turn off the AC and went it to deep water/mud.
I ended up pulling my carpet and Raptor lined the interior. Was too big of a pain to dry out the carpet whenever I'd get stuck in deep water/mud. Just never turn the Jeep off if you do get stuck.
Also as you see below walk it before driving it. (Pics were from before I got my snorkel, and one is from an abandon possibly stolen truck we found left on a trail)
