Wheeling this past weekend and had some horrible noise coming from the rear. Upon further investigation, it turns out that when my back-end flexes the drive shaft hits/rubs the muffler. I took the rear sway bar off, so maybe have I have more flex, but regardless whats a good small muffler to use? could I just use a glass-pack, or cherry bomb? example = http://www.summitracing.com/parts/IMM-87510/

I don't like cherry bomb type mufflers. They are VERY restrictive. All you have to do is look through them to see all the t!ts sticking out into the gas flow. All tests show them to take away h.p. ONLY if u r willing to trade h.p. for clearance would I chose one of those.

If you just install a shorter muffler, that would solve your problem.

ThunderbirdJunkie kind of likes the sound of the u joint crunching against the stock muffler:D
