are we talking front or rear?
front needs the "top plate" to be swapped
and if it is front all the shocks made for the front are OE length
so there is no need to extend your bump stop
The rear is another story

Well here it is
Spacer lifts on KJ's are not good
So now for the fun part
OME springs an shocks = $700 and nothing more
Better ride
spacer lift = $200
blown shocks = $300
extended bump stops = $50
you still need new front springs as the OE springs are shot
So add $200+

Wow
The better lift would have cost you less money and time

Getting tired of answering the same questions?
It is up to OP's to decide if you want it right or something that will never be right.
Old Man Emu Springs 927-948's, OME Shocks or Bilstiens, Tera Flex/Hockey Puck BumpStops, JBA 4.5 Upper A-Arms.
I also used SpiderTrax Spacers for stability & to widen Track, eliminate tire rubbing.

The KJ lift section folks has lots of good info and it all says OME Springs for starters.

In Dutch we say:
“Goedkoop is duurkoop.”
Or in other words:
“Buying cheap is buying expensive.”
“You Get What You Pay For”

Ditch the spacer lift and do it right!

That is the only solution. Just replacing the shocks is a "Band Aid" solution.
The coil springs are most likely bagged out and with a spacer lift you will just kill a new pair of front shocks in no time because of it!
Read through all the info here and you will see replies very similar to this one over and over and over and over and over and over...
