Well, trazman, I am not a Guru, but I think it all depends on what has been done before...

It would be useless to just say 'change this, change that...' if it has been replaced recently..

But, in case the KJ had not received MAJOR repairs, I'd suggest (IMHO):

- Tensioner and belt
- Water pump
- Front hubs ( cannot believe they will last over 250.000 km)
- rear axle bearings
- ALL fluids, including Power Steering fluid
- Transmission filter ( if automatic...)
- Rotors and pads
- Engine's timing chain
- Check Transfer case's chain and front driveshaft.
- air filter, PCV and plugs ( is it a gas or diesel ?)
- wheels alignment

and... keep on enjoying Your ride! :)

But hey, I am NOT an expert!!!!

Well it is a 3,7l and until now there were no dramatic changes. the last big thing was the transmission fluid at 180k km. Other things oil filter, oil, air filter and other usual staff was changed according the manual...
So i decided that 250k km is the right time to do something bigger...

If you have been following the maintenance schedule in the owners manual no need to worry.2 items not in the manual are the power steering fluid and brake fluids which would be a good time to change those out.Upper/lower radiator hoses and t-stat are good things to change often(use only HOAT coolant).

Quite right tjkj, I forgot to mention brake fluid and HOAT ( but if You change W/P.... )

And, almost forgot about that, shocks and coils, those must be over due....

PS: don't know of 3.7s, but diesel Euro-KJs were built originally in Graz, Austria.
