royal purple or lucas?

im at 63000 miles and im going to be changing the gear oil for the front and rear diffs....my question is has any1 here switched to royal purple at 60k? or does any1 have any advice on whether or not to do it?

Your a little late with the diff fluid changes,every 12k-15k for your KJ.

With stock axles you will be fine running anything you want.

I ran Amsoil Severe gear for a while and have considered Royal Purple. I don't think that the gear oil spends enough time in the diff to warrant the extra cost, so I just use a good quality synth (Q state, penzoil...) I follow the severe service schedule because of where I live and swap my gear oils/t-case out every 12500 miles (20K kms). Just my 2 cents dude.

I use royal purple
Can not comment on miles
Installed front locker and changed rear
At 32k installed rear locker and changed front
at 40k changed front and rear again at 46k
due to fear of water being in them
Jeep has 48k

thanks guys ive decided on royal purple because everywhere i go i find royal purple and lucas are a dollar apart so royal it is.
