Roof Rack..............

Hi All. Does anyone know if the Mopar roof rack from a 1999 to 2005 Grand Cherokee will fit the Liberty? Not too bothered about the width if they are too wide, just not sure about the rail fitments? Thanks, Steve :smokin:

I believe the Grand uses a different style of roof rails and that the cross bars actually slide along a channel within the length of those rails and tightens with a friction knob to hold it at the desired width.
Whereas the cross bars for the KJ clamp on to the roof rails and then have a key lock.

Thanks Ry. There are a few Grand Cherokee roof racks on ebay but never any decent Mopar ones for the Cherokee (Liberty). Dealer price is just short of £200 over here so I will wait for one to turn up. There are cheaper ones available but you get what you pay for.
