This Jeep just keeps on surprising me! A couple weeks ago, my daughter called me at work and said "dad, I rolled your Jeep". Holy smokes!

After making sure everyone was okay, I left work early to harness the situation.
As it turns out my two daughters had only a few bumps & bruises.
The next day, I went to the tow yard to survey the damage.
  • Busted mirror
  • Nasty dents (in the shape of a sign post) to the hood and fender
  • Missing chunk of fender flare
  • Small dents on rear quarter and door
  • Gas door busted off
Hmmm, Duct tape for the mirror, 3 quarts of motor oil and a pint of power steering fluid to replace what leaked out while she laid on her side for two hours. A jump start later (tow company left lights on all night) and I was driving the battle proven Jeep the following day.

Good thing for the snow, that helped to cushion the fall. Although, I'm sure snow was part of the cause of it all in the first place.

Yikes! That's a phone call no dad wants to get. Glad it was all OK in the end.

By the way, did the Jeep actually rollover, or just lay on it's side like shown?
A rollover ain't a rollover till you go wheels-up! ;)

Just rolled up on its side. She had just taken it out of 4WD prior thinking the roads were good enough... wrong!
They were laughing once they knew they were okay. I guess it's funny to hang from a seatbelt. They had to squirm out the back hatch window

Thankfully that telephone pole was where it was .. and not a few feet to the left!

Glad your girls are OK!

That's exactly what I was thinking, prof.

Glad the girls (and the KJ!) are OK. The Liberty is a tough little truck - I'm always amazed at the stories of the punishment it will take...

Glad your kids were ok. I still wonder what caused them to spin out and go into ditch in the first place though? Were they In a 4x4 mode? How were the tires?
Were they going a bit to fast or what's up, the road almost looks straight!

Yes, that stretch of road is straight but the roads were covered with about 2 inches of packed snow. The plows couldn't get it off due to the extreme cold weather from that polar vortex bs. She had just taken it out of 4WD about a 1/2 mile prior where the roads were clear. Tires are brand new General Grabbers this winter.
