Is the Liberty Renegade OEM Light Bar Comparable with Liberty Sport?

I have a 2006 Liberty Sport that I desperately want the OEM Renegade Light Bar installed on. BUT Before I even keep looking for one, will it be easily compatible??

Then, where do I start looking? Junk yards? or?

Here is an odd question. After a few months of rounding up parts, I discovered that the OEM Shoulder Screws that hold the light cover assembly together are missing. There are four required and pulled a picture from the OEM install instructions. I have identified that part number as 6507783AA, Screw Shoulder, AKA Cover Screw. Of course, it is no longer available. The specs posted are 3.6 x 0.5 x 0.5 inches, but of course that is a metric screw and the dimension given are suspect. Does anyone have one laying around and can give me some size specs?

No scrap yards close by you could just go and get a set from? Finding an oem light bar in a yard is a rare event after all these years. It was a not so common accessory on what is now a 20+ year old vehicle. Chances of finding one...very slim.

Ahh, sorry I didn't realise it was for a light bar! Missed that bit.
Looking at the drawing it's a step shank bolt so you may have to get some made, hopefully they are a standard metric thread.

Try a fastener specialist. There are quite a few UK ones with websites that list/detail more bolts & set screws than I Knew existed, so I imagine the US is as well served.

Otherwise, you may have to compromise, e.g. clearly they don't need to be Torx, maybe not countersunk, might even get away without them being shoulder bolts by using tube spacers.

I’ve seen at least one in the last week.. try fb Marketplace.. ( where I’m Desperately seeking gray rubber OEM Mopar cargo mat / liner / tray )

search terms Jeep Liberty parts parting, as people post that they’re “parting” them .. and the listing will show a whole truck. so, I’ve seen them there both on L’s being parted and also listed as just the light bar, and here we are 7 or 8 years later. I was able to get the big OEM sport roofrack this way from a gem of a guy in PA who is parting a black Liberty. I think he also had a lightbar.

Best of luck. Ive looked all over, UK and US and no luck. There was one in the US ebay but it was $600, plus $200 for delivery. Its a neat addition but I've struggled to find one. If you succeed, please let me know.

Fasteners for the light bar? Four torx head shoulder screws hoLd the the halves of the plastic cover together. I am guessing metric thread..but need overall length, and how lonG the threaded portion is.and hoe big shoulder. put a drawing of bolt earlier in thread.

I don’t need the fastener specs, thanks, I was just trying to help source the lightbar because I see them pretty regularly on vehicles being parted.

the fasteners are probably spec’ed in the Service Manual? I know there’s a light bar schematic in the 06 manual… but they’re all here as safe downloads thanks to @04Liberty ‘s diligence and kindness
