Removal of Roof Rails on the KJ 2005

Well I removed the old roof rails today in preparation to get some steel ones made up. However after the removal I actually think it looks better now so decided to leave it as it is without the roof rails.
Anyone else done this

Yes some have, just put bolts back in the holes to seal

the factory rails keep me from scraping the roof on the garage door. :D

of course they don't keep me from driving the garage door opener bracket into the roof of the jeep when I had it jacked up for reasons I don't remember, and the door was open. :mad:
