Rear wiper still.

So somewhat recently I replaced my microswitch because I thought it was locking out my rear wiper motor (That is brand new btw.)

After a new switch and wiper motor, the wiper still will not rotate. It clicks like it wants to turn, but it acts as if its locked out.

Any help would be awesome

wish I could help more, but in over 16 years and 3 KJs sitting in the driveway, never seen the need for the rear wiper
But does the shaft move ?
Did new motor work before you installed it ?

hmm....
maybe try to see if it'll rotate with the wiper arm off.
Maybe the positioning is off

As suggested check if the motor rotates with the arm removed.

Which microswitch did you replace? The Flip Up Glass or the rear door?
Both need to be working correctly for the rear wiper to work!

Check the fuses for the motor.

Could be the Multifunction Switch or the wiring going through to the rear.

I will have a look through the 2006 circuitry..do not have 2007 Logics!

I replaced the microswitch in the rear door handle, was not aware of switches anywhere else

I have not tried it with the wiper arm off, although this is a good idea. I will try it when i get home today.

The rear wiper will only operate if the Rear Door is closed and the Glass Pop-up window is closed.

You would expect to get the "glass" message if the pop-up glass microswitch is bad and likewise with the "gate" microswitch but these lines may split up and one path may be bad.

Definitely try operate the motor with the wiper removed and try apply +12 volts direct to the motor. I do not have 2007 KJ manuals but the 2006 KJ Service Manuals will be pretty accurate apart from the fact that the wiring colors may be different:

The 2006 KJ manuals Section 8W is the Wiring Section.

Start on page 8W-53-1...check voltages along all the relevant leads while operating the Multi Function Switch and check the Ground for the rear Wiper Motor.
