Rear windshield on 06' Liberty won't close and lock in most of the time.

Mine won't stay closed, the latch is not stuck or sticky, it just won't stay closed- is this the wire thing you think?

The latch is fastened to the lower gate with two nuts over oval holes. You may need to loosen the nuts and slide the latch rearward. Or possibly the nuts have worked loose already and thats why you have the problem.

I adjusted mine as far as it will go.i even took it out and lenthened the holes and it is real stiff to pull down the window and you have to be firm with it but it will latch and hold and unlock from the handle. But it is stiff to pull down and latch.
