Rear Spring Isolators?

This is probably an afterthought and I should have just replaced them when I did the springs, but what I am noticing is over certain bumps there is a metal clunk from the rear. It sounds like the springs might be connecting with metal and the only thing I can think of is the isolators which are still original. I jacked up the back and made sure they were seated properly but I'm wondering if newer isolators are thicker (less ware) and therefore a simple solution?

The easy thing is that simply lifting the rear allows enough space to get the springs in an out without a lot of work. Thoughts?

FYI the sound is almost like that of a lid being put on a pot.

Some noises will subside once everything settled in
I don't think the springs are the issue considering they're only in contact with rubber
I have a clunky rear end and I've yet to determine what exactly it is, although I firmly believe it's the shocks
I have the bushing kit but it still makes noise
I've learned to deal with it

Did you get a Y-Link extension? I assume not since you probably only have 2.5 inches of lift. Sometimes the swaybar comes in contact with the extension and causes that noise. Never happened on mine but heard it's common.

There's not much to the rear really. The only options that could be causing the noise are the shocks, the UCA, or the LCAs. I replaced all of the above and have a very quiet rear end now. Most of my clunking noises came from the shocks.

Which were th Bilsteins I'm running currently and that's what I believe to be the issue with mine
I'm going to run the Sensa-Tracs when these go out

No lift, I have KYB G Shocks and MOOG Springs. Those were the only things done to the rear.

Have you checked the tri-link yet?
Are you sure that the exhaust pipe is not hitting somewhere?

I would vote for a thorogh inspection of the upper control arm (trilink) too. Mine looked good, but I replaced it, much better now
