It seems to me that with the Libby running, and the radio off, the time should be displayed full screen (like my very old Caravan). On my RB4, when the radio is off (ignition in RUN), the screen is blank. With the radio on, the time is displayed in a tiny box in the lower right hand corner.

Any thoughts? Is this a defect, or just strange design?

clock

The RB1 did the same thing until the most recent nav disk incorporated a firmware change to make the clock display prominently when the system is off (when the system is on, however, the clock is relegated to a tiny unreadable square). So it seemed to be a design fault.

I don't know if the RB4 disk updates also serve this purpose or not. Perhaps a call to Chrysler can get you an answer if none here knows.
