Once again you know this how?[/QUOTE
See below.
How do I know this?
By giving the Fram oil filters to a close and personal friend of mine who just happens to be one of the top Petrochemical Scientists at Shell Canada in the "Research and Development" department of Shell oil.
Maybe you have heard of Shell oil products?
So...
After running a full race engine worth more than a fully done out Jeep Liberty with all the bells and whistles...
Not to mention a manual gearbox and LSD diff that uses the same engine oil also worth close to a that of a KJ, I have never been let down with a Fram oil filter!
Put that into your pipe and smoke it!
I'm sick of all these pictures and **** saying that this isn't good and that ain't good...
Get over it finally!
Shell R&D? Does Shell make filters???
My son works for ExxonMobil, Baton Rouge refinery as a mechanical engineer. Maybe you have heard of them. We have full access to all the same experts and make good use of them. We are running a 1000 h.p. Camaro with turbocharger. My PERSONAL observations are FULLY supported by experts and the evidence is sitting on the shelf above my work bench on the side of GOOD filters.
I wouldn't let a Fram filter ride in the back seat of my KJ.
Now get over yourself with your sewing machine motors. Tell your Shell experts to pay some attention to the bypass valve seat interface. While they are at it tell them to test the bypass valve pressure. You are running on bypass.
This is all supported by independent labs that found other problems as well. Fram = junk and I fully agree that we could put this matter to rest FINALLY.
BTW, I don't smoke, thank you.
