Radio Issue

Hi Guys,
A few years back I installed the Mopar Ipod accessory so I can attach my ipod in the glove compartment. It worked fine until one day the radio stopped recognizing the Sirius mode and the ipod mode. I disconnected the battery for a while and when I reconnected everything came back. Anyway, it just happened again and this time the battery disconnect trick is not working. Any ideas? I drive cross country a lot and REALLY need my ipod to maintain my sanity (last time it failed I heard both Rush Limbaugh AND Alvin and the Chipmunks singing the entire 12 days of Christmas while driving through St Louis). Help! please.

forgot... it's a 2006 Liberty CRD, with 118,000 miles, a new timing belt, GDE mods and brand new tires. Everything except my ipod

Solution: Get a new headunit. Mine was $120 at Best Buy. Its a little pricy but hey, you'll never ever have this problem again.
