The core (fins/tubes) on the replacement radiator for my '06 KJ Sport came natural finish, my first question is "To paint or not to paint"?

My first instinct is to leave it unpainted for better cooling.

Also does anyone have a part # for plugs to fit in the holes where the internal radiator trans cooler would go if it were being used?

Nice weather is almost here in the northeast almost time to go out and play!

Thanks

I'd give it a light coating of flat black to protect the rad matrix.
On my Ralley Mini, it came unpainted and I did the same thing
without any ill effect.
In fact, the black will actually help dissipate the heat.

I just checked out the two links you posted.
Right up my alley!

Thanks for the response! Here's one closer to you in a couple of weeks http://www.olympusrally.com/ My KJ is used quite often as a course safety vehicle. Glad you enjoy both Jeeps & Rally!
