Rack & Pinion

Well i wrecked my jeep this weekend. Broke the right side lower control arm and bent the drivers side tie rod. When i took the tie rod apart transmission fluid was everywhere. And i know the bushings are out of the it so my question is what is the best way to change the Rack?? I've heard stories about how its a pain but i think i read somewhere before about how a guy took the radiator out and brought it out that way??? Any help would be appreciated

That is a very good how to. Helped me get mine swapped out. PITA it still was though.

This is the way to do it - I just swapped out my rack & pinion on Tuesday this week.

Jayme and Aaron - I don't even want to think of the trial and error you guys went through to figure it out but I'm sure grateful.

To the OP - I'm sorry about your wrecked Liberty. Sure hope you get it back running soon! :waytogo:
