ok ok i just re read my first post and it totally sounds like im asking about the boot so im sorry about the confusion as to what i was asking about. i was talking about the tire when i said rubber

You should still worry about that balljoint. Road grime eats a balljoint with a torn boot REAL quick.

Why did you cut the coil instead of the spacer?

this trip is mainly for photography, were going to rocky mountain, teton, yellowstone, wind cave, and badlands national park. next trip will be out to utah to see arches and canyonlands. so off road isnt a big concern here

Been to these places without my Jeep. Sure wish I had it. We put our CRV through some pretty tough trails. I'm thinkin when you get there you will want to go off road. Some of the best pictures will be at off road sites.

Why did you cut the coil instead of the spacer?

i made a thread a long time ago, but cant just cut the spacer, i wanted too but i dont have acess to a lathe to do it and i got the springs for 40shipped
