Hey guys,

I have a 2003 Liberty Sport 2WD that I have a couple questions about.

1. What should the factory ride height be? I'd like to check to see how much my springs have sagged.

2. Non-ABS, are there any differences between the 2WD and 4WD hub assemblies? I can hear the front wheel bearings howling a bit as there is 144,000 miles on them so I'd like to change them. When I look for the parts there is never a 2 or 4WD designation. Pictures all show splines in the middle for an axle shaft end. Does the 2WD just use the same one with the middle left empty?

Thanks in advance!

This is the PRECISION brand part # for 4WD;
PRE 513178

Wheel Bearing and Hub Assembly

Front; 4 Wheel Drive; Without ABS; Axle Nut Torque: 100 Ft./Lbs./135 N-m

And this is the part # 2WD;

PRE 513178

Wheel Bearing and Hub Assembly

Front; Rear Wheel Drive; Without ABS

Appear to be the same.

My Libby is 2WD, there is no difference in the Hubs just that the center is left empty because there are no CV Shafts to hook up.

Hubs are interchangeable 2 to 4 wheel drive
ride height is the same as a 4 wheel drive
after April 12,2002 its about 19 ( middle of hub/wheel to bottom of the flare)
