I have been having a problem with my power windows on my 04 limited lately and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. When it is below freesing my windows do not work. None of the windows through either the front or back switches. After driving 15 minutes or so and the car is warm they all start working as usual. They are not slow or anything. As far as I know the horn still works and there does not appear to be moisture around thee fuze. What else should I check? Is the rear switch power through the front, and could the front switch be defective?

The condensation is freezing the glass to the rubber outside moldings, causing you to to be locked into place this is normal, without using a de-icer on the glass, moldings. You are much safer not even to try as this is putting a huge strain both on the motor and the regulators which can easily snap when cold.
Best advice let the Kj warm up like the 20 minutes before you even attempting the window down, when below freezing.

I have thought of that, but there is no condensation on the glass and the motors do not even attempt to work, it has to be an electrical issue.

The Jeeps windows do freeze in place real easy. Buffalo SD is expecting -11C soon...oh...ccccold.
After I bought the Jeep,I soon realized not to stress the motor/regulators.
If you put the interior lights on and then try to put the window down and the lights dim that means the motor is working but it is frozen solid.
One way to know for sure is to place a 120 volt car heater inside overnight plugged in, and then try the window, and see if it goes down....
I wonder why I have an old GM heater plugged in for a few hours before I leave.
At -11C even with the GM heater going, it would only defrost the drivers window when placed at the drivers mat pointing at door.

These GM car warmers came from the 70's and early 80's era.
They sometimes can be found at flea markets/pawn store.
They are bullet proof and keep the interior & windshield defrosted on medium.
Don't use them if it is snowing, causes ice build up in doors.
With Hydro at campsite ..They even work to keep the tents warm..

I know the regulators are not frozen, the lights do not dim, you cannot hear an extra load on the alternator, this has never happened in the 4 years I have owned the car, and this is happening right and 32 F. I was thinking there may be moisture in an electrical connection that is freezing and causing it to loose connection, but I am not sure. I have checked in the fuze box and all looks good. I do not know where the relays are.
