How many miles on the belt and tensioner?? Sounds like you need to replace. Always replace the tensioner when replacing the belt as its normally worn out by then.
Belt dressing only works to stop squealing on loose belts, but if they are loose something else is wrong anyway, snake oil!!

Never put belt dressing on a serp belt,more so for the EPDM OEM belt that came on the KJ.Now you have to clean all that junk off each pulley so you do not ruin a new belt that will need to be put on,clean the pulleys real well.Replace the tensioner also while your at it as they wearout also.
That split in the PS pulley is supposed to be there.

Yeah the last one i had to do that on was a pain, they had so much of that belt dressing on there it took a whole can of brake clean to clean all the pulleys nice.
