Hi there i dont own a KJ but im in the process of putting a pair of 05 kj seats in my 1998 xj and was wondering if a power seat will bolt to a set manual seat adjuster rails bascially due to the mods required to fit the xj floorpan the power seat option wont work, and i need to know if a power seat will bolt to non powered rails.

thanks in advance and keep on jeepin!

I want to say yes...I seem to recall some members here have swapped their cloth seats (manual) to leather ones (power) and somehow skipped the power part and made them manual.

I've got a 96 XJ Country...I actually prefer its seats to the KJ's! LOL

My xj seats were shot, and I picked up a pair of kJ seats for 50$ so I decided to try and make them work and the passenger side did just a little bit of welding. But the drivers side is way different with the power

You can technically do this with a kj powerseat swapped to kj unpowered seat. They will fit but dissasembly is a real pain. There are lots of clips and little metal pieces to contend with. The mounts are similar enough that you can make it work

Now if you are talking xj rails with kj seats i do not know for sure

The seat tracks/sliders do interchange kJ to kJ
I am simply cutting off the floor brackets and welding the xj floor brackets on, and it’s crazy but it looks stock.
