Replaced the drivers power seat ..failure!!now the new replacement seat doesn't work..

So my old seat in my 04 Ltd was beyond repair. Bolster destroyed, rear mount broken. So found a great replacement from local j/y. 25$ leather power heat.

New seat only heated part works. Won't go up down or back and forth. Switched seat switch from old seat still nothing. Is it safe to say the motor is bad from new seat. Should I check any thing else before trying to swap seat motor.. thanks
