Anyone have any pics of a 2 or 2.5" lift with 235/70/16's?? I'm wanting to lift it now but it has brand new tires on it and i'd rather not spend the extra money on tires or wheels just yet. id only put a 30" or 31" tire on it anyway so a 235/70 isn't much difference but didn't know how goofy it would look

I've posted up several with 235-70s and 245-70s that we've lifted here.
All were in the 3.5 tp 3.75 range though
heres a few lined up
first one has 3.75 lift/235-85-16s, next KJ 245-75s/2.5 inches of lift, next is mine 4 plus and 265-75s, white one 245-70s and 3.75 lift, next two 2.5 inches of lift and 245-75s
I'll try and dig out some more pics

heres a better pic , 245-70s with 3.75 inches of lift just to give some idea.
NOW what you can do, throw a jack under the cross member, raise it up until you measure 19 inches middle of wheel to bottom of the flare. Next jack it up another 2.5 inches measuring at the same place, this will give you an idea of what it may look like. Thats what I do for people wanting to see

Oh my, don't call it silver. His KJ is white and he's proud of the fact that his Jeep stands out among all of the properly-colored black KJ's :evillol:

BTW, here's mine just after lift/alignment with 235/70-16's. sitting at around 22.25 in the front:

Not going to work
First more than likely your springs are sagged to the point that you won't get 2.5 inches of lift
Second that size is 32 inches too big for a 2,5 inch lift
Third you'd need to regear
