Let me call my bank. If they'll deposit it and not hold it forever the USPS money order would be best. I sold my block to a gentleman in new york and he sent me a money order from his local bank and they held it forever because they couldn't verify it.

FYI, any post office will cash it on the spot; all you need is ID.

I don't know about your bank, but USPS money orders are supposed to be considered legal tender/cash.
