I been reading this forum for a few days and someone posted that to get a straight axle to fit you need to go really tall for oil pan clearance which causes cost issues and also angel issues for the drive line.
Now my question:
Has anyone considered or looked into a oil pump system like the corvette uses?
They had ground clearance issues building the c5's and they built a oil pump system. SO... the res. is mounted near the firewall and has a pump feeding the oil pump. This gives constant oil to the motor no matter the g's in cornering and also resolves the issue of ground clearance.
Just curious.
