I been reading this forum for a few days and someone posted that to get a straight axle to fit you need to go really tall for oil pan clearance which causes cost issues and also angel issues for the drive line.

Now my question:
Has anyone considered or looked into a oil pump system like the corvette uses?
They had ground clearance issues building the c5's and they built a oil pump system. SO... the res. is mounted near the firewall and has a pump feeding the oil pump. This gives constant oil to the motor no matter the g's in cornering and also resolves the issue of ground clearance.

Just curious.

the high COG is really over rated
I have seen people pooping their pants about rolling
in spots where I will stop and rock the Jeep
I have drug the rear corner of my TJ ,body not bumper, with the front passenger wheel near 4' in the air and did not roll
yet on a moderate side hill my wife slipped down into a rut and laid it over
I have come down hills that were so steep that the rule was
"4wd low 1st gear and NO brakes" did it in the TJ
same hill in a YJ with 4" springs AND SOA with 37's
same hill did it in the KJ ,bone stock and a LR Disco. with 3" lift and 32's
no one has rolled ,yet

Somewhere between being sane and insane!
It's really not a oil pan clearance issue(besides in a CRD) that requires the high lifts for SFA,it's the fact that the front uniframe is designed for IFS and not SFA.

I'll be keeping my COG as low as possible anyways J that's just how I roll, You're wheeling spots sound like a good time tho. Those "frame rails" are an obstacle that I am working on conquering not sure exactly how yet tho I will be sacrificing up travel severely to make my project work by the looks of things. If I get it too sit right I will have 8to9" of straight down on my shocks.

P.S.
I hate who ever designed the Liberty with IFS and I curse the person who approved said Design
