That's too high for the front main seal - but that seal is prone to leak (mine has been for a while but not in the mood to change it yet :Insane: )

Have you checked the valve cover?

The oil pressure sending unit threads in the block above the oil filter which would put it sort of behind the power steering pump .

How many miles on it
How long have you owned it and if for long time did this just start?
How has the maintenance up till now been?
Any other major leaks you can see or do you smell oil burning?

We have an '05 3.7L Limited that burns oil. No smoke, no leak, just likes oil. Not incessantly but it will take about 2 quarts every 3k. I set the service minder on it for the lowest (2500) I think and also keep tabs on it on my own. Typically right before an oil change I top it off with a quart. I use Castrol 5W30 high mileage dino juice.

^ All good probing diagnostic questions to have asked and answered.

Without knowing anything else, I'd say its most likely to be from the front corner of the valve cover gasket. Mine leaked on the passenger side to the tune of a quart every 2 months. Now, zero.
