Hi,

We are few in France doing some Off road with KJ.
The oil filter is in a good place to be damaged.

Does anyone now the way to protect the oil filter ?

thanks

Actually it's the transmission skid plate that covers the oil filter. your dealership should be able to get it for you. if you search the forums you can also find the part number for the skid plate.

It's $40 in the US and is different then the skid for a gasser. That ****** skid will make a mess though when it comes oil change time, you may want to drop it (very easy one man job) before you do oil & filter change in the future.
