Power steering hose that loops behind headlight has slight leak & once there was a decent sized puddle on my driveway . Not leaking at threaded end connections .
Did a forum search & found some say a weep is common , is above what was being referred to ?
Also found threaded ends seem to be an oddball size . 18 mm feels loose & 17 mm won't go on . Same issue with the small bracket bolts behind headlight . 10 mm is loose & 9 mm won't go on . Anyone else ran into this ?

That should be the high pressure side that goes from the pump to the rack.
If it's leaking you should replace it.

The weeping you mentioned is weeping through the hose. Your whole hose will look like there's a film of fluid on it.

The nut holding the high pressure line down behind the D/S headlight?
I think mine was a 10 mm.
Try an SAE size.

Thanks guys , I have a parts jeep with low mileage & I removed the pump & hoses from it . The wrenches felt a little loose on it too , but worked . I haven't swapped the parts yet but will soon .

Swapped the parts this afternoon , 18 mm slipped on connectors at rack , had to use a cresent wrench . Will one quart fill the reservoir & hoses . Will have to pick some up in the morning .
