NV3500 Or Different Trans

I have a 2003 Liberty Renegade with a 3.7L and manual transmission. From my understanding is that it has the NV3500 transmission. I changed the fluid in it two days ago. The fill plug ended up on the drivers side of the ******. From what I've read is that the NV3500 fill plug is on the passengers side. There is lettering on the passengers side that says NG. Is this still an NV3500 or a different ******?

If it's the 5 speed It's the nv3500.. my fill plug is on the driver's side too

My 5 speed NV3500 also has the filter plug on the driver's side. Maybe you read something from a country where right hand drive is the standard?

That's what I was wondering. The articles I read didn't say anything about country.
