I'm new to these forums and to the jeep realms. So I am looking for some upgrades for light trails and wanted to get your opinions. The trails I drive in consist of some small downed trees and medium water passages for the most part. So let me know what you guys think I need or don't need.

A full recovery bag with straps
A first aid kit
CB and Cell Phone ...

Beef jerky. You may as well just sign up for one of those beef jerky of the month clubs. You will want to take your KJ on the trail so often, you will need a fresh monthly supply of Jerky.

Welcome.

All good suggestions. As mentioned you need to be properly equipped.

One thing that is real important is to not be alone on the trail. If there is another jeep on the trail with you and someone gets stuck and needs a tow to get out of a mud-hole or something, there is another trail-buddy and jeep to tow you out so you don't have to hike a couple of miles to get help. Don't ask how I know this.

Dave best advice yet anytime i went off road i was alone and its not as much fun because you are always holding yourself back thats why i use 2wd to start cause if i get stuck 4wd will get me out and back home but when you are with friends get stuck and get out keep on jeeping
