'02 Liberty 3.7, never leaked any fluids on my driveway, but I came out this AM to a rainbow on the ground. I had the high pressure steering pump hose replaced last week at a local shop, and it's located near this leak, but I can't figure out where the fluid is coming from. It looks a bit like oil, but I'm not sure. The source is near the radiator drain plug, but it doesn't look/smell like coolant, also it's creating a rainbow on the wet pavement.

Leak is dripping here in the attached pic (when the engine is running):

UPDATE: The fluid dripping is PINK.

Thx

Doug

Check the upper corner of the radiator under the upper hose(driver side). The plastic on the side there has a tendency to weaken over time.

UPDATE: The fluid dripping is PINK.

Probably ATF+4 from the PS hose swap. The PS cooler is out there. Interesting though, since an 02 would have had amber PS fluid from the factory. There was a switch to ATF+4 soon after. To switch you need a full flush since if you mix there can be issues. I'd say either it is just the hose leaking or they made a mess when they changed it and it is likely to stop. How badly is it dripping when running?

Slow drips, maybe one every 15 seconds. Confirmed: the power steering tank is low. I guess it's going back to the same shop. Thx for the help.
