So i got my thrush 17718 in the mail. I want to remove the tailpipe from the muffler and back. Is it ok to just install the muffler without a hanger? Has anyone ever done that before? Would it shift or is the exhaust pipes sturdy enough to hold it. They do not have a hanger anywhere in my viscinity.
