I would like to hear some opinions about my mileage drop as I'm not sure if it is normal or not. Last fall I have changed my stock Wrangler HPs (235/70R17) to Wrangler Silent Armors (245/65R17) and my fuel consumption raised for about 3.5 litres per 100 kms. I thought this is not only because new tires are heavier and have more aggressive tread pattern but also because of winter gasoline. Winter is gone but I still get about 14 litres per 100 kms which is significant increase from 10.5 litres that I had in the fall. Suggestions?
