All things considered, as many water pumps I've seen with metal impellers eaten away by corrosion until vehicles begin to overheat without any seal leakage, I'm not too sure a properly specked fiber impeller wouldn't be a better idea. It ain't like they've got to resist the occasional rock or stick passing through. :emotions34:

Those were my thoughts too, a fiber impeller won't corrode. 140k on mine, and counting...knock wooden head.
I wouldn't have one on a boat engine though, where you might sand blast it. :gr_grin:
