Okay, okay. Just a question about stock CRD spring/shock assemblies. Jeep has now been designated for 90% off road use. Going to be adding custom bumper, winch on the front. Wanting to know if I can take a, stock, fully assembled spring assembly from a CRD, break it down and reuse my spacer lift from the gasser setup. Let the flaming begin!

If you don't care about the ride and handling then sure
Not going to get any extra lift
Not sure why you just don't do it right from the get go
Turning the flame off now

Really not going to have a good setup when done, don't think you'll be happy with the ride and the end result
Why not just buy OME or Ironman HD front coils and shocks since you have a full spacer lift. Install it then redo the rear later when more $$$ becomes available

I am upgrading from stock too on an 06 sport with 3.7.
She is sagging pretty good and needs a lift.....
I don't have anything out of the ordinary now, moabs with 235s.
The only off-roading is done on the beaches of northern fl.
I am also thinking about adding a winch.
I have looked at the jba coilovers and ome.
I would like to improve the ride and add a little space.
What is your thoughts tom?

Best would be the JBA adjustable coilovers hands down. Great ride, have the ability to adjust to what height you want, add a winch just adjust it up some etc
If adding a winch and aftermarket bumper I would look at the OME 790 springs in front. The 927s can hold one or the other real well but with both of them especially a winch with cable you need the 790s , firm but good ride with both
