LED courtesy lights

So after switching out the courtesy lights with T10 leds it's dimly lit even when turned off. What's the solution?

Assuming series resistor but which and where exactly?

I have the same issue I have even installed a resistor im just used to it now

Also just deal with it here. Bothers me no more than other dash and console lights.

My tC's LEDs don't do this.

Either live with it(I also do this) or add back in some regular bulbs since the KJ's lights are computer controlled(grounds the lights to turn off/on) and LED's don't have enough "resistance" to fully turn off.

I'd skip the resistors since they can be tricky to mount since they will get hot,like over 200 degrees, so it's hard to find a good mounting spot that won't pose a fire risk.
