Knocking in 4x4. Any possibility?

Hey guys, when I apply 4wheel drive I'm getting knocking or ticking noise. Sounds pretty bad, not sure what it can be and it's tuff to pinpoint where it's coming from. Has anyone had an issue like this with there 4 wheel drive?

CV joint on the tcase side of the front driveshaft. Check the boot and see if it's still there. I'm guessing that's your culprit if the noise doesn't depend on turning.

If its that , easy repair, under 70 bucks
But if not then right front CV and Intermediate shaft would be next on the list
