I recently noticed what I thought to be a wind whistle through the roof rack cross bars but later determined to be a mechanical squeal. It comes in softly at around 45mph sometimes and fades out above 48 then comes back in around 55 and fads above 57ish. If I'm running 60mph and lift off the throttle it will come in pretty strong the fade out as I slow below 55. Sounds like it's forward of the driving position but it's so high pitched it's hard to pinpoint. I had thought wheel bearings but I know that's more of a roar. Maybe a pulley? Someone said possibly clutch related? Anyone familiar with this?
